2013 Festival Highlights

The first Malpas Junior Festival was a triumph.  We had 16 teams competing in beautiful conditions and with some outstanding cricket.  When you add in the fly past by the Red Arrows and the final of the U9 tournament going down to the final ball and ending up as a draw then it simply can't get any better than that !   Or can it......2014 we are doing it all again

Malpas Cricket Festival  - Sunday June 9th

The sun was warming my back as I watched a Malpas cricketer hit another ball for 6...then out of the corner of my eye, I saw the Red Arrows performing a fly past in perfect formation........................  I thought I had died and I had gone to heaven.

To say that it was a great day was an understatement.  Mr Mark Humphreys is penning a few words but for now the results :-

Under 9 CUP - Incredibly a draw !  The trophy was shared between Chester Boughton Hall and Malpas A.  Absolutely brilliant !

Under 9 SHIELD - Tattenhall

Under 11 CUP - Llay

Under 11 SHIELD - Malpas A
